Not the tables, but the classroom is flipped?

Hellooo friends. Do you know what a flipped classroom is? no? Well, I expected that. In a traditional classroom, students learn in the school face-to-face, and do their homework and preparation in their home. In a flipped classroom, it is completely reversed. We teachers create materials that our students consume in their homes. We can create note sheets, videos, podcasts. Then, our students come to the class and do their "home"work. By that I mean they do their work and we guide them in the classroom. For several reasons, flipped classroom offers a lot of opportunities. For example, since the learning part is in the home, students get to customize their learning experience. When will they learn the topic? Will they keep notes? Will they review their notes? But there is a dangerous slope here. Since the learning is done primarily by student, it requires a lot of self control. For younger students, it is both harder to implement but also a lot more important to implement.

For this task we were required to create a flipped classroom material which we would use in a real life classroom. Our task required us to aim really young learners and also we used bits and pieces from the real Turkish Curriculum of teaching English. We worked in pairs and my trusty friend Melih Kır helped me a lot. For Melih's part, he got the editing part and the voice cleaning part. Me, myself, and I did the picture finding and script writing parts. We both recorded our voices as instructed. He used Adobe Premiere Pro, a professional tool that is used worldwide. You can find his blog post here.
