How do you do fellow kids! Want some homework? No? Well, too bad. I have some homework incorporate AI into your learning experience. The task is for high school prep students in an EFL context. The task will teach you how to effectively utilize AI in your writings. Just like they hated every new invention throughout the history, many educators fear that AI will render homework useless by generating the answers almost instantaneously. But it is evident from history that trying to swing against the current only damages our students. We educators should not only embrace AI but also utilize it into our teaching, so that students will not "just use AI to get over with the homework". They will use it as a tool to enhance their learning by customizing their learning experience.
We didn't have any hardships whatsoever, using Microsoft Word was quite easy. Mr. Melih Kır and I created this material collaboratively, sharing our opinions about the various design choices. The task involves comparing your "organic" writing with AI's "artificial" writing. Our students and AI will write an essay for the same premise, see the differences between. This will not only show that AI have their own "voice", but also teach our students to use their own voice.
